Bio:     Meijing was born in China to parents who wanted a son as their first born.  Instead of surrendering her to an orphanage as a newborn, her birthparents threw her into a dumpster.  Fortunately, she was found and taken to an orphanage where she was offered up for international adoption.  With a little help from Bruce Wayne and his lawyers, Alex and Emily were not only able to adopt Meijing, but were able to do so expeditiously.  At just over six months old, Alex and Emily went to China to pick up their first child.  Not their oldest, Mei was the first one to be brought into their home.

Mei is very close to both of her parents.  She is highly intelligent and was allowed to skip a grade in elementary school because she was so advanced.  Of all her siblings, she is closest to De’ondre and Betsy.  She shares her mother’s love of everything electronic and loves to research and develop ‘toys’.

But perhaps the greatest love of her life is Peyton Meyers.  From a very young age, she has been drawn to him.  When her parents allowed her to start ‘dating’, the only boy she wanted to ‘date’ was Peyton.  The feeling was mutual.  The couple are engaged to be engaged and plan to get married and raise a family.  They plan to have their own children and adopt children as well.

Mei also has an internship at WE where she is learning from her mother all about what it takes to be in charge of the R & D department.  It’s her dream to work there.
