Bio:
For schooling, he was a weekly boarder at Ashford School, which prepared him for attending university. He excelled at Ashford, playing on the Rugby team and achieved Sixth Form at A level. This allowed him to be accepted to the London School of Economics. There, he obtained bachelor degrees in Economics and Social Policy. His graduate degree is in Political Economy.
His life was on the track he wanted. He planned. At university, he boarded with Harry Talbot, who was planning on becoming an economic and political science professor. His sister, Philomena, was studying to be a professor of Gender Studies at nearby SOAS, University of London. The pair hit it off immediately and married not long after receiving their graduate degrees.
Callum began work as a financial advisor with Wilhoite and Mannheim in England, a private firm that was hired by businesses to reorganize and save them from failure. His record was exemplary from the beginning. The only business that failed was his first, and from that moment, he refused to allow another business to fail. He rose quickly in the ranks of the company but the partners refused to make him one and after five years, he was recruited by Miller, Norwich, and Worley. It was here that he was introduced to the concept of not only saving ‘one’ business, but saving entire towns by saving all the businesses in them.
In his personal life, he and his wife gave birth to their daughter, Millie Ilena Parnham in 2008. At this point, he was able to employ a governess to help his wife with the day-to-day raising of their daughter and moved to Totteridge, which is considered one of the wealthiest suburbs in London. Millie was enrolled in Callum’s alma mater Ashford and became a weekly boarder, spending her weekends at home.
Sadly, Callum and Philomena’s marriage was not as successful as their careers and when their daughter was 8, they divorced. It was a very amiable divorce. Callum happily gave his ex-wife the house in Totteridge as he began his own business, Parnham and Associates, Inc, a company designed to save the economically ‘dying’ towns and boroughs in England. As he would be traveling, he didn’t need the big home. His homebase became a small flat in Kent where he would visit with his daughter on her weekends.
He was in Bradford, attending the wedding of his former brother-in-law as his daughter’s ‘date’ when he met Hillari Montgomery, the sister of the bride. It was shortly after his divorce and the 35 year old wasn’t really looking for another relationship. A friend, yes. And that was how they started. He had to admit that it was a bit intimidating to be corresponding with a psychologist, at first. But the fact was, she was easy to talk to, understood the rigors of his job, and was genuinely interested in his life, work, and family. So when they took the next step and started dating, it was the easiest thing in the world to open up himself that much more to her.
With his daughter in her senior year at Ashford, she is considering attending university in the United States and he has turned to Hillari to help guide them on good, safe schools for her to attend. This will bring Callum more to the US as well. As he has just finished the project at Wakefield, he has planned a holiday to spend time with his daughter to help her find a university. He is more than sound enough financially to take a four to six week holiday. After her search for a school, she decides on Princeton.
Callum finally admits to Hillari that he has reservations about leaving his daughter in the US and returning to England. Millie’s student visa allows her to stay in the US, but Callum is here only for the vacation. That is until he is contacted by Bruce and Emma Wayne from Wayne Enterprises. They have a town, Coleman, MI, that they need help saving and Callum is just the man for the job. He jumps at the chance to stay in the US with his daughter and asks his girlfriend to move to Gotham and live with him, although he will be spending most of his time in Coleman. Still, she agrees.
