Wayne Island
Welcome to Wayne Island. When Bruce and Grace were first married, she expressed to him her desire to have her own private island. Bruce took it to heart. The island was purchase for her as a gift. Some of the buildings were already there, some have been added over the years. It has really become a retreat for the Wayne family and their friends. A vacation paradise.
This is the island as it was originally purchased. The airport landing strip can be seen off to the right and can land a full-sized airliner. The rest of the island is a self-contained paradise for the Wayne’s and whomever they bring along with them on vacation. Below, you will find more pictures of the island.
Travel to Wayne Island can be done one of two ways: Airplane or Boat. Bruce and Grace often travel by their private jet, but if they are taking a more leisurely vacation, they will travel on their yacht.
The main buildings, such as the airport and the dock, were already established when the island was purchased. However, each home was built to the specifications and desires of the family who was going to move into it. It was a gift from Bruce and Grace to the close friends they call family.
First, there is the Main House where Bruce and Grace live with their children.
The interior is the epitome of luxury.
The Main House also has several other amenities that guests and family can enjoy.
The Meyers House was built next. Courtney gave her ideas to the architect who managed to capture her ideas flawlessly. This home is one of her favorite places in the world, and is the vacation spot for Courtney, Seth, Peyton, Parker, and Breanna Blaire-Meyers.
The Harris House came next. It’s design was done by both Chad and Hope. It is the vacation home for Chad, Hope, Miranda, Kerrigan, Sierra, Savannah, and Kendall Harris… and Otis too.
The final house to be built was the Norton house. It is the vacation home to Alex, Emily, Zuberi, De’ondre, Sekayi, Mei, Jamila, Fadil, Betsy, Li-hua, Darius, Timateo, and Sunny Norton. The Norton’s have also, over the years, had several family pets, the most notable being Potsi.
One of the most popular homes is perhaps what is affectionately called ‘The Pool House’. It is the smallest of all the homes, generally used by couples who are on solo vacations and wish not to be on the main part of the island.
All these properties are protected by a main gatehouse that is staffed by the Wayne’s personal force of bodyguards.
The second layer of security is the more closely guarded Gate House. Absolutely no one is permitted without permission or permit.
And yes, their staff have their own set of very, very beautiful homes.
The bodyguards have two homes that are strategically placed on either side of the island. They are designed to allow the men, and women, to have comfort during their downtime, but also provide functionality as well.
Throughout the island, there are private areas for couples to be alone. There are family areas where everyone can gather or small places were friends can simply hang out. Grace’s personal favorites are the cabanas and the island has several.
