When Joseph Meyers was eighteen years old, his world was turned upside down in the blink of an eye. Thanks in equal parts to Alex Norton and billionaire Bruce Wayne, Joey, his mother and sister, were removed from an unstable and dangerous home environment and reunited with his older brother, Seth, whom he had not seen in so many years.

The family (minus their father) relocated to the greater Gotham area, where Joey eventually finished high school and eventually enrolled in a vocational school where he trained as a mechanic.

His life’s passion is restoring classic cars to their showroom glory, and with help from his brother, Seth, Joey was able to see that dream through to the fruition of owning his own specialty shop: Vintage Rides. He buys old, classic cars to restore and sell, usually to private (and sometimes wealthy) owners. His name is also well known at car shows up and down the East Coast of the United States, where not only does he compete with his favorite cars, but he is renowned as a parts guru. It is rumored by many that Bruce Wayne has purchased some of his rebuilt cars.

In January 2008, he married his sweetheart, Ruthie, with whom he has two children.
