Bio:      Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jacki is the child of parents who immigrated legally to the United States from Mexico.   She grew up in a home where Spanish was the primary language spoken.  She grew up in the poor side of town, her family never really having enough money for all the kids her parents had.  The neighborhood was a tough one and Jacki learned quickly how to fight for herself and her siblings, as she is the oldest of five kids.  Over the years, Jacki earned the reputation of being rough and tough and ‘bitch’ and those who messed with her ended up hurt.

During high school, a series of bad choices landed her in the juvenile detention system.  San Antonio had a program where certain teens who were on ‘bad roads’ were paired with law enforcement mentors.  Jacki ended up in the program and this changed her life forever.  Javier Fernandez taught her how to box.  He taught her the skills and discipline she needed to control her anger issues and channel it through her boxing, which she was really good at.   Soon, he was teaching her how to shoot and suggested she join the SAPD to try to make a difference in her neighborhood in a positive way, instead of the downward spiral she was going in before.

It wasn’t long before she gained the attention of the SWAT commander and ends up joining the SAPD SWAT.  The SWAT team was a perfect outlet for Jacki and she shined in her new job.  So much so that she caught the eye of Percy Stevenson and with Sloane’s permission, Percy approached her with a job offer to join Bruce Wayne’s personal security team.
