Bio:     Fabian Barela was a high school foreign exchange student from Gda?sk, Poland when he met and fell in love with JoAnne Webber, of Gotham City.  After returning to Poland, Fabian spent the next two years trying to return the USA to be with the girl he had fallen in love with.  He eventually obtained a student visa and returned to attend Gotham University on a computer programming and technologies scholarship.  He and JoAnne dated throughout college and were married just months after graduating in 2002.  By the end of 2003, Fabian had secured a position with a small computer programming company, which began as a division of Microsoft, but was later acquired by Wayne Enterprises, after its re-envisioning by CEO Bruce Wayne.  He and JoAnne had three children together: Mina, Iwan (November 30, 2006) and Karina (January 1, 2009).

His eldest daughter Mina has followed in her father’s footsteps with a love of computers, programming and technology.  Currently a student at Gotham University, she is hoping to earn an internship with WE’s Tech department for the summer.
